WRA125 IAR Analysis "It Bees Dat Way Sometime"

1. What is invention?

  • Introduce the similarities and differences between American English and Black English.
  • Give some examples in order to explain and concrete those similarities and differences.
  • Use those explainations to help people facilitate commulicate with different culture background people.
  • Base on all, to clarify the real situation of current mixtural Black English.
  • Cite and research scholarship from sociolinguists(Langston Huges, Lonne Elder,etc)

2. What is being invented?

  • Generally, the sounds and structure of Black English and White English are the same.
  • Under current circumstance, many Africanized feature of Black English may in the danger of extinction.
  • Although a few different patterns of distribution, the pronounciation system of Black English applys the same number of sounds as White English.
  • Black English is also changing over time, we could not expect them to be same as the origin.
  • The biggest differences between Black English and White English are on the level of grammar structure.
  • Currently,Black English has been transform into Americanized English due to comfort the language standard of White American.
  • There is also some misuse of language patterns of contemporary Black English because of lacking enough education.

  • The style in relationship to language.
  • The grammartical structure to the differences between Black English and White English.
  • The pronounciation system to the similarities between Black English and White Englsih.
  • The tranformation of contemporary Black English in relation to the danger of extinction of its Africanized features.
  • The lack of basic education lead to misuse of language.

  • Compare to contrast.

  • Knowing the evolution and general structure of Black English
  • Realizing the real situation and of contemporary Black English.
  • Understanding the differences and similarities between Black English and White Engish
  • Observing the inner connection between Black English and White English.
  • Noticing the importance of finding the inner connection between two different culture language in order to enhance communication.

6. What is revision?

  • Examples of the differences and similarities.
  • Cites literary work.
  • Compare and Contrast used in every specific example.
